The images for this project emerged from a two-year dialogue between myself and another person, connected by a shared appreciation of textures. Our mutual fascination with surfaces became a means of communicating across distance. The work brings these exchanges into physical form, layering industrial textures onto industrial texture. The project explores how a shared attention to surfaces can become a point of connection.
