I created this woven piece while working with artist Anya Molyviatis in her Austin, TX studio. Anya creates immersive woven environments that blend fine art and design, and much of her work uses a waffle weave structure. She generously allowed me to use her equipment and studio space to explore this structure in my own three-dimensional weaving. This experience allowed me to experiment with new technical possibilities within my weaving practice.
